By car:

Turn to road Ylä-Kolintie at the Koli village centre. Drive approximately 1 km on this road. You will see two signs showing the speed limit of 60 km/h along the way. Right after the second sign you will see our yellow sign on the left hand side of the road. Turn left and continue on our private road until the very end (past the house of Ollila) where you will find the red main building of Mattila farm.

By public transport:

There is a shuttle taxi operating from Joensuu to Koli and back. You can find the timetables here. Another option is to take a bus from Joensuu to Ahmovaara: you need to check the timetables on the website Matkahuolto. Search for connections between Joensuu – Ahmovaara (Juuka). There is still 10 km from Ahmovaara to our guesthouse so we recommend you order a taxi from there to Mattila, the number is +358207414393.
